- Monday, 14th August: Scott Tunbridge Returns to Accies
- Accies have announced the return of popular Australian striker Scott Tunbridge (left) , who had been released in May. Scott returned home to Australia to get married but, contrary to reports, he never signed terms with Australian club Cumberland United. International clearance is therefore not an issue and permission to resign the player was received from the SFL on Monday. Scott has opted to rejoin Accies despite interest from Livingston, Dundee and Stranraer and it is hoped that he will be available for selection for Tuesday's cup tie against Berwick Rangers.
