Description
The International Foundation for Functional Gastrointestinal Disorders (IFFGD), is a nonprofit education and research organization. Our mission is to inform, assist, and support people affected by functional gastrointestinal or motility disorders, GERD, or bowel incontinence.
Functional gastrointestinal (GI) disorders affect millions of people of all ages. Symptoms can range from mild to debilitating. The social and economic consequences are immense.
IFFGD is dedicated to improving the quality of life of those who are affected by these disorders. This can be accomplished by funding more research; educating patients, care givers, and the public; improving diagnostic and treatment methods; and providing support to those affected.
