- Ablivion is a network formed to accomodate various internet services related to chatting, 3d gaming, and virtual reality interaction on the internet. Formerly known as Snoozenet back in 1997, Ablivion network started out providing a means to chat with other people by offering internet relay chat (IRC). Within the past three years Ablivion has provided private world hosting for Activeworlds, a three dimensional interactive program to meet other people, play games, and chat. Our most popular world in this program called Hangout is available to visit in Dreamland Park. This virtual reality world was maintained by a team of helpers known as the Ablivion Guild as well as other worlds. In April 2003, Ablivion discovered a new 3D interactive program known as There. In 2006 we are working on projects in the 3d community known as SecondLife, a fast growing virtual place gaining popularity worldwide at an alarming rate. We are now currently working on ways to interact and help with this community. Our goals have always been and to continue to provide services to the general internet community for beneficial purposes as a non-profit organization through our network resources.
