Description
Heads 1.1 km (0.7 mi) west of Hughes River Gap, 0.6 km (0.4 mi) south-southeast of Shenandoah Research and Resource Management Center, flows southeast alongside Corbin Cabin Trail, to join Hughes River 1.4 km (0.9 mi) north of Pinnacle Peak; in Shenandoah National Park.
History
Named for local farmer and landowner Aaron Nicholson (born 1830), who was a member of the fourth generation of a family to live along the stream.
