- My name is Matt Vann, and I have been involved with computers in some way, shape or form since they first arrived ‘on scene’ – at least for my generation (that’s those of us in our 30’s, in case you’re wondering). Back in the early 80’s, I can remember tinkering with a friends Sinclair ZX-81 (this will mean nothing to the non-geek), wishing I could have one, just so I could look at the jerky black-and-white wire frame graphics and play the game which involved being chased round a 3D wire frame maze by a simply terrifying 2D wire frame monster equipped with 2D teeth and arms (Monster Maze?). Of course, I was only eight or nine at the time.
