A map for the Internet
What (summary)
Even though I haven't see the google map of earth, I presume it is like an atlas, and you can zoom into an area to find out more about it. Currently I feel it takes some time to master usage of google. It would be great if we have a visual map of the Internet, which would offer a myriad of uses. It is basically something like the data structure used by crawlers to crawl pages. People will be able to browse over this graph, and visually get to sites they are interested in, without really typing anything into a search engine.
Why this is important
Tasks
People are used to reading maps, diagrams and more. Besides graphs are a very important tool for visualization. This project, if successfully implemented, has the potential to educate people in their areas more than through a search engine.
