Home of versatile whippets Whippets can do anything except herd fish Avita Whippets is a hobby breeder and our dogs are members of our family. We only breed with a specific goal in mind. In ten years, we have bred two litters and co-bred one other, with health and temperment as our #1 consideration.
We love the versatility of whippets. Corky, our foundation girl, competes in seven sports and is titled in five. Her daughter, the lovely Big Mo, is a dual champion (bench and field), titled in two other sports and training in two more.
Some of the Avita puppies that have gone to other homes are also active in lure coursing and in the conformation ring. Others are excellent companions and couch warmers.
