The National White Dove Release Society (NWDRS), in conjunction with independent dove release companies across the nation, proudly announce the beginning of their first annual "White Wings Across America" on September 11, 2009 in order to commemorate the victims and heroes of the 9-11 attack. On September 11th, the members of NWDRS will be releasing thousands of white doves (homing pigeons) from coast to coast, and also in Sidney, Australia at their respective local commemorative services.
