I purchased the bike in 2003 and have replaced or rebuilt just about everything on it. Go to the Progress Reports tab to see complete documentation of everything that was done. My goal for this project was to build a bike with that distinctive vintage look but I built it to ride and, although I wanted to keep it looking as close to original as possible, I am not opposed to using non-original parts especially if it makes the bike more reliable and safer.
