3DN locality
Definition: Locality
Locality does not have any set boundaries. In local organizing, we are looking for that space in which all of the resident share a common interest in a healthy local economy and a healthy local ecosystem for the purpose of engaging the conversation "What can we do to make our community a better place to live?". That space will vary depending on the issue being discussed. Locality is also different than community in that there are many within a given locality who do not think of themselves as a part of "the community", rather community is built through more and more people coming to understand their shared interests and working together to make their community a better place to live.
