Early in the year 2000 the big drug companies still had a stranglehold on the lives of Americans. They were happy and unchallenged charging the highest prices in the world to their own citizens with little regard for the vulnerable uninsured who were at their mercy; the fixed income senior, the just making ends meet middle class family, the working poor. These people were by-products of a system without compassion. We looked at a broken system and vowed to help.
