Paula Gerardi
Paula Gerardi is a Psychic and Shamanic Medium working with 12listen.com. After apprenticing to a shaman for six years, and running a council on Shamanism for 7 years, Paula initiated regular services to the Divine Mother at The Women's Rites Center in Manhattan in 1990, where she also served on the Board of Directors. Paula has also been published in the Sage women magazine, and served as the director for Earth Based and the Eastern Religions Forums for the Microsoft Network, for several years.

Do you have a personal statement that best describes you?
- The call of Shamanism is to me, through the pathways of the Dreamer. Through the Sacred Dream we can journey to the past, the future and to other levels of reality. My years of leading guided meditations have given me a deep understanding of the principles of karma, the patterns that repeat over and over in our lives until we learn the needed lessons. The goal is always self knowledge, unconditional self love, and personal empowerment. I deeply believe that the balance of personal empowerment and compassion for others, leads one to peace and bliss.
Do you have a motto or favorite quote that guides you?

- I can remember at four, praying to the Moon as Grandmother, seeing auras and making offerings to the Ocean·...Heeding these calls, and many others, from my childhood, I followed in path of my Mother's intuitive lineage by apprenticing to a shaman for six years. I have offered my work of spiritual counseling, readings and holding classes on Shamanism for the past 14 years.
- I began my public work by running a council on Shamanism for 7 years. These monthly meetings grew larger and soon blossomed into a series of retreats. Retreat topics included mask making, shield building and rituals based in Shaman teachings. In the 1990's, I initiated regular services to the Divine Mother at The Women's Rites Center in Manhattan where I also served on the Board of Directors. The Center was a Sacred Space, open to any spiritual group. There I conducted Baby Blessing Ceremonies, Hand-fasting (weddings), and Coming of Age Ceremonies for young women.
- While at the Woman's Rites Center I began my most innovative work, Changing Personal History. Over a period of 5 years I was blessed with many clients who came to learn this unique process of Soul Retrieval. I wrote Changing Personal History in the desert of Arizona, and began to heal myself through this process from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Through the blessings of the Divine, I have shared this work with countless others who have used it with great success on their own healing paths.
- For several years I was the Director of the Earth Based and the Eastern Religions Forums for the Microsoft Network. I was able share my deep love of these areas with MSN's large on-line community and broaden my knowledge by providing coverage from events such as the Buddhism in America Conference . I have had articles published on MSN and in Sage Woman magazine. I have a degree in Philosophy from New York University.
Do you have any advanced degrees or specialized training?
- I have a Bachelors Degree from NYU and am an Interfaith Minister. I apprenticed to a Shaman for seven years in my twenties before beginning my public work.
Do you offer special services or insights that customers might find helpful?
- Your energy vibration is a reflection of your deepest realization of self. You can feel the true essence of who you are at anytime and live in the never ending power of those manifestations. As you move into living the true self, everything in your life will bloom into more happiness than you can now imagine.
- As a shaman I can see that energy around you and gently guide you to manifest the best outcomes. My way is bring you to a place of empowerment within.
Do you do any charity or non-profit work?
- I do free readings or reduce cost reading every week to those that are in need. All of my work is sliding scale and I have done free meditation workshops to local hospices to help the care givers deal with stress.
Why do you love what you do?
- To be of help to another is a great gift and brings me bliss. My work connects the individual to the beauty that is with them and empowers through that realization. What more could one ask in life than to be part of another's awakening? I feel honored and truly grateful to be on my path, it is a great joy.
What times are you usually available?
- I am on 12 Listen every Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. I am also on-line Thursday mornings.
Do you have any other projects, books or multimedia that you'd like to inform us of?
- I am currently writing about the Divine Feminine. The book is called, The Mother Star and features beautiful photographs of women as different Goddesses from all the worlds religions.
- I am also working on writing the Spirit Retrieval process I have been doing with clients for 15 years. Changing Personal History is the title and the name of this work.
