Hilda Osborne was born Hilda Jean Patterson on September 25, 1951, in Nashville, Tennessee. She grew up in Nashville, except for a few years when her family lived in Kingston Springs, a small rural community just outside Nashville. She graduated from Hume-Fogg Technical High School in 1970, and she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Organizational Management from Tusculum College in 1994. She recently moved back to Kingston Springs with her husband Steve and three of their eight grandchildren.
