About Us The Susie Royer Syke Literacy Fellowship (SRSLF) was established in November 2005 to honor the memory of a talented and dedicated teacher and mentor. Susie valued opportunities to extend and enhance her learning through teaching and sharing with others. To that end, the SRSLF was established in her memory to help educators advance their understandings of best practices and their effectiveness as teachers.
