M33, or the Triangulum Galaxy as it is also called, is one of three spiral galaxies of the Local Group, our own Milky Way and the Andromeda Galaxy being the other two. M33 lies at a distance of about three million light years from the Milky Way, in the constellation Triangulum, and is about half it's size. M33's beauty is emphasized by a large population of young blue stars.
