This page is mainly concerned with the descendants of Phillip Lupo of Isle of Wight County, Virginia, the earliest known Lupo to live full-time in America, and the common ancestor to most of the Lupos found in the Southern states in the early part of the nineteenth century. Phillip was the great-grandson of court musician Ambrose (da Milano) Lupo, who served in the courts of Henry VIII through Elizabeth I from 1540 through 1591.
