Kentucky Public Entity Programs, Inc was actually started in 1983 to provide specialized insurance coverage's to Emergency Service Organizations around the state of Kentucky and was originally named VFIS of Kentucky. In 1998, the name was changed to Kentucky Public Entity Programs, Inc because we were being asked to provide insurance proposals to a number of Municipalities affiliated with some of the Fire Departments and Rescue Squads being insured by the VFIS Program.
