After travelling in my early twenties I returned to South Africa where I studied photography at the Durban Institute of Technology (originally the Natal Technikon). In my third year of studying I specialised in macro photography as I love how detailed and artistic something so simple and often obscure becomes when looked at from a completely different point of view.
