XRD patterns of BaZr0.1Ce0.7Y0.2O3 (BZCY1) and BaZr0.4Ce0.4Y0.2O3 (BZCY4) oxides before and after treatment under various CO2-containing atmospheres indicated that BZCY4 is a promising high CO2-tolerent proton conductor material. The study of fuel cell performance showed that BZCY4 has the potential for direct operating reformed gas.
