We are comprised entirely of experienced volunteers united and inspired by a common compassion for all animals. Our primary focus is on saving cats and dogs destined to be euthanized in the area shelters or in other dangerous, life-threatening situations.

Each orphaned animal we help is provided proper veterinary attention, as required, and then is placed into one of our Safe Haven Foster Homes. Our Safe Haven Foster Home program is key to helping a homeless animal become a loving pet. Some of "our" cats and dogs need extra special care and attention to recuperate from medical, mental or physical neglect/abuse, or simply to regain their confidence and trust in people, but they all receive lots of TLC and basic family member training.

Another part of our philosophy and practice is building alliances with other cooperative rescue organizations, shelters, veterinarians, media, small and large caring companies, city and county agencies. By working together, we can save more lives and eliminate the unnecessary deaths of so many orphaned animals while enhancing the lives of people as well.
