Edit War Resolution

Hi Scott. Can you please advise me on what should I do. I am having an editting war with another person on ArtSapience.com/Talk and I would prefer not to do this since it keeps making the recent changes grow way too much. The problem is that he keeps removing my comments. I know he believes he has his claim but I am pretty sure I had a right to contribute especially since it was an answer to another person's discussion with me. I would prefer the comments to stay up there but fear this is a headache. Like I said though, I feel that i am causing more trouble then good by continuing this edit war. Advice? --Master Baitor 22:17, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Your stating false claims, this is against the site policy.Until the time that you cease with your false remarks the page will be reverted excluding these remarks.Stating that there is nude children on our site when there clearly isnt(need i remind you further that TedErnst and Asad Butt have active accounts and can freely login at any time to check the forums and prove your claims are wrong) is a libelous claim Darkgiant 21:09, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Fixed that. I am sorry I didn't see that. The filter stopped the non-nood (had to change it again) pictures and i was forced to change it to clothed and forgot to take out the non part. That was my bad. Does that mean it can stay now? --Master Baitor 22:25, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Your still stating false information regarding the pictures. There is no such pictures on the site nor have there ever been.ART and i personally screen ALL files/media/content/post/material that is posted/linked/referenced or otherwise made noticed on our site for possible illegal content. Would you two like to join me in chat to see if we can resolve this? - Scott Keeler Comment_green.gif

Id rather not devulge my ip/hostname on a public irc server for all users to whois me,and one that i cannot guarentee is secure. Darkgiant 22:33, 31 August 2007 (PDT)
I just checked and IP addresses of webusers (using the link above) are not made public. - Scott Keeler Comment_green.gif

As i run an irc server my self, even if you use a web applet, all a user needs to do is type "/whois user" to gain access to there ip address and hostname.I can also not guarantee that this server is secure.I will not be joining this "chat" Darkgiant 22:43, 31 August 2007 (PDT)
My mistake, you're correct. Can you tell me why you're worried about someone seeing your IP address? - Scott Keeler Comment_green.gif

For no other reason then that it is my choice to join or not join this server. It is my privacy that is at stake and i will not jeopardize it for any reasons.I can also not guarantee that this server is secure and has prevenative measures installed to prevent the unauthorized access to private information. You could always ask Art to join. His IP is not hidden. --Master Baitor 22:59, 31 August 2007 (PDT)

Okay, after a discussion in IRC we've decided the edit in question is constructive, so I added it back in. We also thought it would be a good idea to lock the page temporarily (as requested by ART on the page history) to let both parties cool down. The page will be unlocked on Saturday morning. I hope this is a reasonable conclusion for all parties. - Scott Keeler Comment_green.gif

It would be reasonable if you locked the page when it had factual information on it and when ART (THE domain owner) requested it to be done instead of after 3 hours of reverting these libelous claims. The edit is NOT constructive and you are allowing libelous statements to be made on the page(which AboutUs will be responsible for) Darkgiant 23:15, 31 August 2007 (PDT)
