Just implemented an archive of my Talk Page using how you did yours as a guide.

b) Just wondering if you could take a look and make sure I did it right. I think so, but it was a bit confusing to modify.

The bandage image is from a google search for 'clipart' and 'eye bandage', I think. It was unclear whether the image was in fair domain, so we are only using it for the time being to demo the portal. All of the 'final' images we use will be under fair use.

Hello Simon,

I noticed that you have been having some trouble with the folks from web-app.net coming over and editing the web-app.org domain listing. I tried to correct up the listing a little while back. I see now that you have reverted it back to its former state before I edited it. Perhaps this May 13 reversion was due to an (understandable) assumption that the web-app.net folks had come back and changed the page again. However, this time it was not the case as it was only me working on the page trying to fix it up after all that has been done to it in past months.

There have been some changes in that Carter, the original owner, has given the web-app.org site to me out of frustration over the same sort of thing, being constantly bothered by the folks from web-app.net and not having time to deal with it. Carter no longer wishes to be contacted about Web-APP which is why I entered my contact information on web-app.org's page. I am now the legal owner of the domain and the Web-APP project. Another change you might have noticed is that for most purposes we have just recently reverted to the earlier, formal, spelling of the project name, "Web-APP", in place of the slang "WebAPP" as has been most commonly used in recent years. We will continue to use also "WebAPP" as a slang name for the script, but the community and project should be properly known as "Web-APP". This is why I made that change you noticed in my last visit to the page.

After the May 13 revision, the domains listed in the related section are the web-app.net-affiliated sites. The sites I listed in their place prior to this on my last visit are truly the directly related sites that actually support the Web-APP project.

Could you please allow the AboutUs page for Web-APP.org to be kept as I edited prior to the May 13 reversion?

It helps a little. There's still an overall weirdness about making a t curved like that. Yes, I know lots of fonts do it, but those same fonts also have a curve off the bottom of a u, for example. Yes, I understood that part (about where the content came from) but by removing the information, this doesn't teach the user how to remove the information him/herself. It promotes laziness in that users keep coming to us to remove information when they can simply click the edit tab and do so themselves. This is a publicly editable wiki, is it not? We do have tutorials, telling users how to use the wiki, do we not? Then why aren't we telling users how to remove information themselves? Telling users how to do things themselves encourages them to use the wiki.

hey, can i have it so no one can edit my USer Talk page too, they keep vandalizing it... Locked Page

By locking the main page you are showing that AboutUs is not open to others ideas(mainly the domains staff) and that you refuse to listen to others comments or ideas about a subject if you disagree with them.You are contradicting your self many times over through out this entire debate.You state one thing for us,then a user doing the same thing we "supported" in to doing which we attempted to do. If that is the case, if the owners had a say on the main page, why is master baitor's comment on the main page and not the discussion page? They are my words everyone is cross referencing and I have said that I have not posted anything that is illegal in my country. I cannot clarify the legalities of the content within another country apart from the country I have the servers located in and as such any discussion relating to the legalities would seem rather futile without the said material in fact being available for viewing would this not be a logical assumption to make. Now the user MB (Master Baitor) assures me in his opinion that in his country the content is illegal but has refused to provide any legal reference so that I may learn that countries legal codes (Any more than 2,000 pages of legal text from each country in the world I reserve the right not to read) as I am indeed researching and collating every countries laws in this area and the website is dedicated to this topic (particularly the Wiki) hence the site is more than legal and any person stating otherwise is making remarks that are false.

If everyone could please stop renewing the arguments about illegal content as it has been more than clearly stated that the website ArtSapience.com is in fact legal and contains no illegal material for the American legal system and other countries. This said it is rather annoying for all parties that the user MB continues to re-hash old arguments and adds comments that insinuate things taking place and therefore restarting the discussions in an agressive manner, He furthermore has knows the user DG for approx a year and in the past has openly expressed how much joy her receives out of firing him up and watching him respond, now this is not very social behavior and if this was indeed a work environment what sort of office would allow these activities to take place.

The user MB has shown already to unfairly alter other users text, harass users and threaten on and off-site including writing comments and sign them as other users then answer the false comments in order to start an argument and has admitted to illegal activates and to include this website would this not implicate this website with any proceedings at a later date as this website and its staff are now aware of the illegal activities of this user and yet allow his interaction on the very topic he is currently facing incarceration for again (As MB has already been to prison for Child Pornography charges and is a known sex offender this raises the criminal activities and that of any penalties), would this website then be aiding and/or be providing a means for these illegal activities to continue as he has been provided an outlet to advocate his activities?

Either way the discussions about the website should conclude as stated by the domain owner and an article was placed for all to read which clearly answer all concerned and it seems no reason to continue reopening th matter again to resolve back to what is now, all that will be gained is stress for all concerned.

I wish to help the community site AboutUs with some of the work I have been developing for my wiki site that will no doubt benefit this as the code is identical but all was resolved until this MB user arrived and now we have more stress to deal with resulting all from this one user. DG can be a valuable asset to any site but certain people can firing him up and the many miss out because of the few that should not be on this site like the user Master Baitor. He has breached enough policies already to warrant a ban but alas this is not my site and I can but only wait until you have had enough, Thank you Simon and I wish you patience either way you choose.

As stated by Ted Ernst when i requested my page be locked,i was denied this as i was told talk pages are not to be locked.

There is no "policy violation" as there is no "policy." I don't find your reliance on legalease helpful. The point of all we do here is to build the community resource. Nathan's talk page is open for editing now, anyway. I don't see the point in a locked talk page

Another Edit War

ArtSapience.com/Talk is another battle with with DarkGiant. I have posted a comment if you read is not peronally attacking but a point of view from an ongoing discussion i was having with another user. Do I have to stay up again tonight and play this game again. Sorry simon for sounding a little weird but it does get frustrated dealing with his edit wars.

False information

The further allowing of false information to be posted in ANY pages regarding our site is not only against your sites policy(which you seem to judge biasely on)but is also detering from the ongoing discussiosn that artsapience has had with higher staff members(TedErnst,Ray King).It is not constructive he is stating false information,you may want to ask TedErnst and Asad Butt they have an active account on our forums.His claims are libelous and should be removed if AboutUs actually enforces there rules and polices. Why should there be a break when libelous claims are being made,which is against AboutUs policy?There is false information on the page and it should be removed at once.And now that the page is locked thee is no way to remove the false information.

You have locked m page to my domain discussions, I have requested this page to be locked to prevent edit wars, I have numerous times copy and pasted old versions of this page and create a new edit to replace the versions that was there before it has been attacked.(look through the history - Very annoying)

I have removed the comment as it clearly states I personally have said something that I have not said and this is libelous and extremely misleading among many other things, If you look at the history I have made active attempts to keep the page free from false information and edit wars, I have allowed without edit information that I personally do not agree with as that is another persons opinion but this is clearly not an opinion he is stating it is a lie and I have simply remove the comments so as not to create another edit war with this annoying user Master Baitor, You have locked my page with this false information I have removed dozens of times could you please remove from the table at the bottom of the page where it says the discussion conclusion and down as it has nothing to do with the actual website reference and is rather a person statement about myself which is false.(I choose not to call it a personal attack)

Another question: I had some questions on there that were good points about the discussion and were not directed toward any site but all those in general which was the reason for discussion on Pedophile_Warning_Policy_Discussion. You removed them .. may I ask why? I also noticed you removed some of the attacks but left some others. Why choose some and not others? We already responded to this nonsense about a zillion times. The WikiPedia article (maintained by this same vandal, indeed) has been responded to over and over again, with *very* strong evidence about the fact that this Nathan's diploma mill is NOT concordia-college.net. He deleted same responses there over and over again.

The domain is 'net' (AND 'edu') for the simple reason that every new school starts unaccredited. Only at a later stage, when accreditation becomes a fact, a website can obtain a .edu domain or subdomain. We didn't make the rules.

Nonsense. You're claiming to have been in existence since 1999, the .edu rules weren't tightened until 2001. Furthermore, your .net wasn't even registered until after the turn of the millennium; it did not exist in 1999. The same is true of that fake http://www.wiki.pedia.nu page you created, its real address was a redirect to com - a page on some free server^[1]. Was. I was testing out the idea and unfortunately the buttons get in the way of the sash. I'm going to try out another badge, but I might end up slightly rethinking the content-action links to accommodate using a template.
