I've been part of the AboutUs team since February '07. If I had to give myself a normal-sounding job title I would say that I'm a community manager who wears many hats here at AboutUs.org. What I'm up to:

Helping people who contact AboutUs. I answer a lot of questions about social media and SEO :-)
Sending the weekly AboutUs email newsletter with online marketing tips. Sign up to get it. (See past newsletters I've written.)
Engaging with people on AboutUs's Facebook and Twitter.
Reviewing edits and making suggested edits anytime I see a page that I can add to or improve.
Help our Unfair Advantage and Competitive Edge clients see where their digital marketing stacks up to their competitors, and help them improve.
Helping our developers address bugs and design new features. Notice a bug? Let me know.
Writing how-to articles about various digital marketing topics:

On a more personal note, I have a BS in Geography from Portland State University and an associates degree from Clark College where I studied Journalism. I love to dance socially and in my living room, and I try to go hiking and rafting anytime that Portland's weather permits.
