About Me

Hi! I'm Kristina. Thanks for checking out my page here at AboutUs.org!

I have been a part of the AboutUs team since February '07. If I had to give myself a normal-sounding job title I would say that I'm a community manager here at AboutUs.org. This whole time I have been reviewing recent edits that have been made on the wiki, working to build community, and helping people use AboutUs. Below is more of what I'm up to currently:

Reviewing edits and making suggested edits anytime I see a page that I can add to or improve
Writing Internet marketing-themed how-to articles: Reputation Management, Google Maps, Using Facebook and Twitter for Your Business, Crash course in Google Analytics, Email Newsletters, HTML Sitemaps, XML Sitemaps, Keep Visitors That Don't Type WWW, Get Your Website Indexed, Boost Conversions and SEO with Contact Info, What to Do If Your Content is Stolen and Make Groupon Work for You. On a more personal note, I have a BS in Geography from Portland State University and an associates degree from Clark College where I studied Journalism. I love to dance socially and in my living room, and I try to go hiking and rafting anytime that Portland's weather permits.
