Sikhism is the religion of the Sikhs. Sikhism is not a blend or reproduction of earlier religions but a New Revelation altogether. In its simplest form, Sikhism represents a spiritual path to God and a just social order for all. The religion was founded in India by Guru Nanak in the form of ten Gurus (1469-1708). The tenth Guru, Guru Gobind Singh proclaimed the eleventh and last Guru as the Guru Granth Sahib, which is the revered Holy scriptures of the Sikhs.
