Title
Orchard Cottage holiday accommodation in Northumberland
Description
Widehoe Haugh, Waren Mill, Northumberland, is owned by Mr and Mrs Graham. Previously, after having been primarily used for horticulture, the land had fallen into disuse over the years, before we acquired it and restored it as a haven for wildlife and our rare breed livestock.
After what seemed like several lifetimes of business and international travel, the moment we saw it we fell in love with it and knew that this was to be our future.
The “9-acre wood” that can be accessed directly from Orchard Cottage, has been planted with 3000 broadleaf trees and various pine trees. This is a haven for roe deer and many other forms of wildlife and is home to our friendly Kune Kune pigs and Real free-range hens. The wood is also the home of genuine four-leaf clovers (which you are welcome to try and find if the pigs don't get there first!)
