NTV's model investment process
- NTV provides seed funding for the commercialization of technology and business ideas which have emerged from educational and research institutions. We typically will invest up to $500,000 for such initial business, either as the sole lead or (preferably) as a syndicate lead with angel or institutional sources.
- This seed investment will enable early business activities: development of the business plan; licensing of intellectual property; recruitment of initial management; proof-of-concept milestones.
- Using its relationships within the venture funding community, NTV will work with the company to secure the next round funding.
- Participating as an investment partner up to a with a level of $1 million, NTV will an active partner in these early stages of corporate development and venture financing.
NVT's Priorities
Working with scientists, managers, and local experts, NTV will assist in the formulation of the business and investment opportunity. This process focuses deeply on:
- Technology
- Market assessment
- Development plan, product offerings, operational assessment
- Financial and business model evaluation
