- The uniqueness of the International Leaders Summit lies in its dual "top-down" and "bottom-up" approaches. The top-down approach provides participants with an opportunity to discuss issues that will lead to implementing reforms that have been successfully implemented in other countries. At the same time, through the direct participation of experts and leaders from such sectors as business, media, technology, and healthcare, the ILS offers a bottom-up approach whereby these institutionalized constituents have an opportunity to address the relevant issues in their respective areas directly with experts, senior government leaders and legislators. Furthermore, different concepts working with more or less success in different countries foster recognizing the areas that need improvement as well as possible options toward the identification of best practices for particular countries.
