As a senior member at the World Bank Spouse Organisation in Washington D.C., she significantly contributed in designing self-sustaining networks to support expatriates and their families. Counselling and assisting new arrival with adjusting, supporting and preparing employees and families being assigned to the World Bank's over 150 overseas postings were her core business.
Her firsthand experience as accompanying spouse and mother enables her to empathise with the concerns and challenges relocatd employees and their families face. As she is equally familiar with the HR and employee perspectives on expatriate i ssues, her professional and practical experience make her an invaluable resource for achieving a succesful assignment.
Prior to her stay abroad, Ute Dickel served as a teacher in different secondary schools for 20 years. In these positions, she gained extensive inside knowledge of the German educational system.
