- Three Point Technology was founded in March of 2004 by a group of investors, all of whom were formerly executives in the software support and computer-based learning industries. In August of 2004 Three Point Technology acquired the LearnIT Corporation of Gainesville, FL as part of a broader strategy to develop a global on-demand performance support service to be launched by the summer of 2005. LearnIT Corporation was acquired primarily for its world class simulation technology – developed for the sole purpose of realistically replicating the functionality of any software application. The acquisition also includes a library of Microsoft IT training content, much of which was produced in partnership with the Microsoft Corporation.
