Our thumbnails are provided by Name Intelligence/Domain Tools. It is possible to refresh thumbnails:
- Go to DomainTools.com.
- Enter the name of the website in the search box for Whois Lookup.
- When you see the outdated thumbnail, click "queue thumbnail for update" link.
- The thumbnail has now been queued to be updated. This can take up to a half hour, but once it has been updated, the AboutUs.org page for this domain will have the new thumbnail.
- The request can be made once a week and you know when the last request was made by checking the date above the thumbnail. For example: Thumbnail: 2007-04-19 (keep in mind the intial call to create the thumbnail was probably made automatically.)
