The Triangle Complex Fire has burned 28,889 acres and is 40 percent contained. The fire started in Corona and spread westward. It has destroyed approximately 208 homes and 3,700 city, county, and state firefighters are continuing to fight the fire.

The Santa Barbara fire has been declared human-caused. Arson has not been ruled out. The area where the fire started is a popular hangout for teenagers - it was probable that the fire was started by a cigarette or by a campfire.
Sayre Fire

The Sayre Fire in Sylmar has burned 10,000 acres. It has now moved into the Placerita Canyon area, but outside the city. The fire is only 40 percent contained. 638 structures have been destroyed. 10,000 people have been evacuated.
