The purpose for this web site is to provide information of INTEREST to Masons and Friends of Masons for their consideration and personal use. The intent is to organize the information in a manner so as to make it available to all personnel who do not have the time available to search for the information or obtain it from other sources. It is hoped that this site will become the primary INDEX for all people seeking Masonic Light.<br />

One of today's major issues among the members of the craft is the lack of "Knowledge on Masonic Subjects," especially among the newer members who have not been exposed to the more experienced Masons for sufficient time to learn by experience and association. The Grand Lodge of Virginia, Committee of Masonic Education and Publications, is working very hard in this area to help bridge the gap and educate our members in a number of different ways. The committee now has a web site where educational materials are posted for the use of the "Leaders of the Craft" to assist in this endeavor. Please feel free to visit the site often as new materials will be constantly added as they become available. The site is located on the Virginia Masonic Information Net server and can be accessed at the following URL:<br />

"Masonic Education" on general Masonic subjects is as important to Masons, who want to or are taking a leadership role in the craft, as learning the "Ritual." Both will be presented at the Reid J.
