Heuer's Sewing HistoryRon Heuer ventured out on his own in 1982 after working 25 years for Singer. Beginning in West Bend, Ron was soon met with overwhelming enthusiasm from customers…so much in fact that in 1988 the Heuers opened another store in Fond du Lac. With the expansion of a new store, the Heuer's staff expanded as well when son, Jeff, joined the business. Today, Heuer's Sewing Center is selling, servicing, and holding classes some major brand names as Janome and Elna.
