Founded in 1918, Hanahau`oli is an elementary school in Honolulu, Hawaii that promotes academic excellence with its progressive education approach developed from the teachings of John Dewey. Our graduates tell us that their years of "joyous work" made them independent and resourceful individuals. They are creative problem solvers because they developed a love of learning at this unique elementary school of 200 children.
