Concentrating on the historical, social, cultural or religious context and background and how this relates to wider story, our workbooks try and cover all of the individual vocabulary that a developing reader may come across before listing, discussing and pulling apart all of the simile, idiom, metaphor and different literary styles that each novel has to offer. Hundreds of pre and post reading discussion points per novel are also contained in our workbooks enabling educators or parents to discuss factual and hypothetical situations with the reader.
