The Greater Long Island Wheelchair Athletic Club is a New York State 501(c)3 non-profit corporation, established in 2002, formed to provide competitive athletics for the physically challenged. Our initial endeavor was to form Long Island's first independently supported wheelchair baskbetball team, the Long Island Express.
