The Garden Club of Allegheny County is a member of The Garden Club of America GCAC began in 1914 as a group of idealistic women wishing to translate their ideas and ideals into public action. Originally, they came from Pittsburgh and the East End, Old Allegheny and Sewickley and later enlarged to include members from other areas of the county and beyond.
