The Embreeville Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection services to citizens living in the area south of Johnson City, between Jonesborough and Erwin. Embreeville currently has 24 Firefighters, 7 Officers, and 1 junior Firefighter. All Firefighters are, at the minimum, required to successfully complete Basic Firefighting training and Live Firefighting taught by the Tennessee Fire Service and Code Enforcement Academy.
