Welcome to El Paso County Emergency Services District #1's website. The Horizon City Fire Department is currently operating out of a single station located at 14151 Nunda in central Horizon City. With the explosion of growth in Horizon City and the surrounding area, it will soon become necessary to build satellite stations in the surrounding 150+ square miles of territory for which we are responsible. We are able to do this with an entirely volunteer department.
