I. Mission Statement
Design1Online's (D1O) mission is to create games for girls that inspire dreams and ambitions, are fun and entertaining, provide a safe social environment, teach essential life skills, and promote member-driven content.
II. Company Background
D1O started as a little girl's fascination with horses. In 1998 CEO Greta "Jade" Krafsig wrote a book about a young girl and her trusty steed. Following the book's completion she decided she wanted a game to go along with it.
In 1999, at only 13, she started designing what would become her very first online game. White Oak Stables officially debuted in September 2001, running on her home laptop and only accessible for a few hours each day. Since then it has grown to over 100,000 members from more than 150 countries.
Nearly 10 years later Jade Krafsig has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and is working towards a Masters in Game Development. D1O's countless years of experience and unique insight can be attributed to the young girl who decided to write a story about a horse -- and unknowingly creating a company geared towards quality games for women of all ages.
Today D1O has expanded to incorporate many other games, almost all of which center around animals. In total D1O has had the opportunity to work on over 16 games, several of which are still running strong today.

White Oak Stables, D1O's largest game, is rated as one of the top online horse games in the United States. It has been featured in the Fredericksburg, Virginia Free Lance Star, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Animal Chatter Magazine in the United States; Mizz Magazine in the United Kingdom; and Horse Power Magazine in Australia.

Experience the Internet's first automated role playing game -- the all new eRPG! Whoa-Horsie takes the idea of wild horses and cowboys to an entirely new level. As a horse you'll grow up in a herd, fight for leadership, change grazing grounds with the seasons and deal with predators alongside the every day struggle to survive on the range. As a human it's your job to ride out on the range, capture wild horses, and bring them back to the ranch for training. Once you have a trusty steed compete in shows against other ranchers to test your skills in the saddle.

Ever wanted your own online game? Now you can have one! GameFrenzi is an online game framework. Once you create an account just choose the type of game you want, add in characters and pets and monsters, create maps and quests and message boards, write the game rules and invite all your friends to play. Not only can you manage all aspects of the game, charge your members real money to upgrade their accounts and make a profit. Your game, endless possibilities.

Create your own unique pet store. Pawpets lets you choose from over 50 different animals, lions and tigers and bears oh my! Buy, trade, catch and sell your pets to earn pet credits, the game currency. Then race your pets against your friends to see how well they do.

Enter the lands of PLEX where building is half the fun. Choose from single player or multi-player mode. In single player mode choose from one of six characters. Each has their own unique quests, puzzles, and story line. Terraform the lands of PLEX to help the character accomplish their goal. If you get bored launch the online multiplayer mode where the persistent world is always changing. Unlock building challenges and solve puzzles to earn jewels, chat with friends and help design everything around you. Finally, track your status as a builder compared to all other players.

Website Hosting - $10 a month

Finding a place to keep your game can be a hassle. With high bandwidth and storage necessary, keeping your game can be a costly battle. For only $10 a month you can host your game on one of our game servers. There are no bandwidth or space restrictions, however the resources on the server are shared amongst all games on the server. With over 10 years and 16 titles experience, we've become one of the leading companies in online text-based games. We offer a quality experience and efficient programming suitable to your budget and needs.
We'll walk you through the creation of your game from start to finish. We'll discuss your target audience, layout, and the pro/cons of your current game design. We'll suggest modifications and enhancements that will give your members the best gameplay possible.
Once the planning phase is done we'll send you a final quote and contract along with a timeline for your game's completion. As your game is being programmed you'll receive up to date emails and phone calls to monitor its progress.
Finally, your game is opened to the public. You'll have a set period of time (varies with complexity of gameplay) to review everything and iron out any remaining bugs.
