Dan's original compositions offer a mix of environmental folk music, social satire, and blues with the occasional country, rock, or pop number thrown in for seasoning. An emerging star in the Central Florida folk festival scene, Dan lives in Daytona Beach, where he entertains at local restaurants. Winner of the 2004 Comic Song of the Year award from Songwriters Showcase of America, Dan performs each year at the Will McLean Festival the Florida Folk Festival, as well as doing an annual concert at the Bermuda Aquarium and Zoo. Dan also sings with the folk revival trio Work Release Program, covering songs by The Kingston Trio and other folk icons.
