The Crested Butte Farmers Market is a non-profit organization devoted to promoting sustainable, local agriculture. Established in Crested Butte in 2007, the Crested Butte Farmers Market has provided opportunities to regional farmers, ranchers, bakers, artists and artisans to sell their products directly to the public. With a primary focus of education, the Crested Butte Farmers Market offers a series of educational activities, demonstrations, workshops and film screenings for both children and adults throughout the summer. Children can enjoy planting seeds, coloring contests or even a field day to promote children’s health and wellness while adults can participate in a series of food preservation workshops or enjoy at-market chef’s demonstrations.
