Nestled in the beautiful Southern countryside of North Georgia on Crawford Smithonia Road in Colbert, is the historically significant Smithonia district. Begun as a farm in 1860, Smithonia was purchased and renovated by country music star, Kenny Rogers. In 2001, another Southern gentleman, Jewett Tucker, acquired the property and established Tucker Plantation there. Part of Tucker Plantation is available for special events like weddings and large parties.
