Carthage Marble originated in 1928 in Carthage, Missouri, at that time primarily focusing on quarrying carthage marble out of the local mines. Soon the business became a commercial and residential fabricator and installer of natural stone countertops, floors and much more. In 1952 Carthage Marble expanded its operations to the Kansas City Metro area and opened a showroom and fabrication shop off of Southwest Boulevard where Carthage Marble still resides today.
