Bryan Mickleburgh's talent as a sculptor gained recognition in 1991 when he produced a bust of Buffalo Bill, William Cody. This was initially exhibited in the American Museum in Bath and was then accepted by the Royal Academy of Art where it was on show during 1992. It was subsequently exhibited in Harrods’ window and was eventually purchased by the co-ordinator of the “Back trailing Buffalo Bill Society” in the United States.
