BK Engine Specialties Inc. started life as BK Head Specialties by Bobby Kammerer as a part time venture in 1978. As an avid drag racer doing his race engine work soon began to grow into the prime shop for area sportsman racers of all stripes. In 1979 the decision was made to move forward into a full time business venture with Bobby handling machine shop and Gayle running the office, parts, and no stranger to most any machine equipment in the facility.
