Welcome to the BGT website. (formerly known as Burmah Gas Transport) BGT controls and operates a fleet of eight identical Moss Rosenberg type LNG carriers. These vessels were built in succession between 1977 and 1979 by the Quincy Shipbuilding Division of General Dynamics. From each vessel’s delivery until the end of 1999, all eight vessels served in the Indonesia to Japan trade under a transportation agreement with PERTAMINA, the Indonesian State Oil and Gas Company.
