History Big Brothers Big Sisters of America has been serving children since 1903. Today there are more than 470 affiliates nationwide. Here locally, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Snohomish County was founded in 1987 after Paul Seely from the Boeing Company was recruited to Chair Board Recruitment. Bill Sullivan, Dottie Piasecki, Sue Gould, Barbara McCarthy, Sue Cooper, Tom Dickson, and Bob Drewel joined him.
