My dad recently started a new unit manufacturing Heat-Resistant Gloves. It’s based in Rochester, NY (check it out: http://www.neetascreations.com/safety). They make several different kinds of gloves using fabrics made up of exotic fibers such as Kevlar®, Zetex®, ZetexPlus®, Fiberglass and PBI. Everything from cutting the fabric with customized dies to sewing gloves, mittens and aprons out of them is done on premises.
